First Time Trying Jeffree Star Cosmetics

Hi everyone,

Today I’m talking about Jeffree Star Cosmetics, this is the first time I’ve ever tried or bought any of his products.

I bought a liquid lipstick in the shade Gemini (because I’m a gemini…) and an ammunition lipstick bullet in the shade Unicorn Blood. All other products are my friend Katie’s.

I also made a youtube video showing my opinions if you’d like to check that out here – https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6vmpJcClTHs

Starting with the Androgyny palette, it has 10 shades and a range of colours, but none of them really go together. E.g. multiple pinks to blend together like I would usually use, but it isn’t a problem if you love bright shades.

I found that they were very pigmented with good payoff but there was also quite a lot of fallout and I found them hard to blend.

Here they are swatched.

Next we have liquid frosts.

I love that the palettes are so big, you definitely get a lot of product for your money.

My favourite was Ice Cold (The whiter shade) as I felt that it blended well and gave a really nice shine to my cheeks rather than a chalky line.

I’m definitely going to look into buying one for myself after trying my friend’s (Which I actually accidentally broke after filming / photographing them but I DID replace it straight away with a new one!)

Finally we have the infamous Liquid Lipsticks. I tried one from each different special edition range which is why the packaging looks different for each. Usually they have the regular pink paging.

A few of the shades I personally wouldn’t wear but I cant fault them on their application and formula. They could possibly be the best liquid lipsticks I’ve ever tried! They stayed all day, dried fast and applied nicely, to be honest I want 100 of them!

The ammunition bullet was also good however I much prefer the liquid lipsticks. Gemini especially!

Thanks for reading and don’t forget to check out my video to see how they apply and to watch me swatch them!

See you guys next time,

Best wishes ~ Becca
