Visiting The Elan Cafe

Hi everyone!

While in London I visited the famous Elan Cafe!

You’ve probably seen this all over your Instagram feeds recently so I thought that I should give it a try and let you guys know what I think!

Elan Cafe have more than one location, but I visited the Park Lane cafe across the road from Green Park.

When we arrived we weren’t aware that we had to queue. We walked straight in but were told by an employee to stand outside. We were waiting for maybe around 15-20 minuets for a table but finally got a seat downstairs.

This is where the famous flower wall is located!

Unfortunately, there is only one table and 2 chairs that are next to the flower wall which were taken. So I didn’t get the chance to take a photo of it…. (you’ve probably seen it, but if not then look it up!)

Luckily there was another flower wall at the top of the stairs which I managed to take some pictures in front of!

When it comes to the food and drink, my stepdad ordered a Tuna Melt sandwich (which was delicious!) and I ordered a Lucky Charms coffee.

I couldn’t actually see the lucky charms coffee on the menu, I only knew it existed because of other people’s photos.

I asked if they did any of their coffees as Decaf but was told that they don’t, however they did do Soya Milk which my stomach was extremely happy about!

The menu also didn’t show the desserts or cakes, those were back upstairs, and there wasn’t much of a range of different foods, but the few items on the menu all sounded very nice!

The seat we were placed at was next to the kitchen door, we had 3 chairs but were told not to use one of them so that staff could get in and out.

The tables were quite close together and there was no natural light, but luckily all of the people were friendly so the atmosphere was positive!

I don’t know if I’d go to this location again, just because of its location being far from where I’d usually go when in London, the prices being not cheap and there being not so much room (The food and Staff were wonderful though!). However, I would like to visit their other location in London to compare!

I’m glad that I did go and I enjoyed my visit, it’s something that I can finally cross off of my bucket list and I would recommend it if you haven’t already been or you love to take photos!

If it sounds like something you’d want to do then definitely go for it!

Best wishes ~ Becca x
