Blogmas Day 10 – GlamGlow Mishap

Hi everyone!

As you probably know by now if you keep up with my Instagram, I’m a huge fan of GlamGlow! I love using facemasks and GlamGlow’s are some of my favourites as they’re so fun!

So when they sent me 2 items as a surprise Christmas gift I couldn’t wait to use them!

They sent the white Supermud, and the Volcasmic moisturiser.

The moisturiser is kind of like a hard balm (but will turn into a thicker cream if you apply enough pressure), but I like to lightly rub my fingers along the top of the product and use a minimal amount of product.

I’m not really sure how to describe the smell, it kind of reminds me of a sugary fruit scent.

It’s a really nice product and the first moisturiser that I’ve seen in this form.

As for the Supermud, I had a bit of an issue…

I’ve never had any problems with any of their other masks and I would even recommend them to anyone!

However, this time I had a bit of a reaction to my skin, which left redness all around where the mask was.

I noticed that the mask was beginning to tingle but I assumed that it was the mask drying, or just the gritty bits in the mask, but as I washed it off I realised that my face was red.

It wasn’t sore, painful or swollen, just red and lasted for about 30 minuets.

Obviously so many people use this product every day and not everyone has issues so I’m not trying to put anyone off from using this! It’s just unfortunate that it doesn’t agree with my skin.

(This product smells like aniseed or liquorice and dries grey)

If you don’t have any skin issues then I definitely recommend any of GlamGlow products as they’ve always helped me to take control of my face.

Just remember that if you’re ever using a new product, test it out on your hand before using it, read the ingredients and wash it off immediately if you feel that something is wrong!

Thank You for reading and stay safe when it comes to skincare!

Best wishes ~ Becca x
