Blogmas Day 1 – Advent Calendars

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my first ever Blogmas! This month I’ll be posting every single day from now all the way up until Christmas Day, so be sure to follow me to keep up to date!

To start off Blogmas, are you looking for an advent calendar that isn’t your typical Cadbury’s or cheap chocolate calendar this year?

Here I have a list of 7 calendars that we have here at my home to give you an idea of what kind of calendars are available! We usually only have 1 each but this year I was treated by a few different people to different ones!

I know that this post will be released on the 1st of December, when most advent calendars have already began, but incase you’re a little bit behind this month, here it is…

Galaxy – I know most people get Cadbury’s or Tesco/Morrison’s own chocolates as their calendars, but have you ever considered a galaxy calendar? This one is my sister’s, she’s a huge fan of galaxy so loves this calendar, and £1.50 at Morrison’s is a all that this cost!

Millions – This one is also my sister’s calendar, I bought this for her as she asked for a non-chocolate Calendar. I’ve never seen any advent calendar that wasn’t chocolate or a beauty calendar, so I’m really excited to see the kinds of flavours and package sizes that will be inside! Only £4.99 at B&M!

Kinder – I LOVE kinder so much more than galaxy or nestle etc.. I was so happy when I stumbled across this calendar so my stepdad bought it for me! It was £4 at Tesco, which is a little bit more expensive than a cheaper Tesco’s own calendar but the chocolate prizes are all full mini bars which is a pretty good buy for that price!

Reese’s – Peanut butter cups are also one of my all time favourite chocolates, so when I found this calendar in B&M for £4.99 I had to have it too!

Hotel Chocolat – If you’re looking for something a bit more up-market then Hotel Chocolat is the way to go! They were generous enough to gift me this advent calendar from their Meadowhall store for me to share with you guys. Each chocolate has a number of how many days are left until Christmas and at £8 this is their cheapest calendar this year.

Charlotte Tilbury – Charlotte Tilbury’s PR team very wonderfully sent me their £150 beauty calendar! I’m going to make a blog post specifically for this calendar so be sure to keep an eye out if you want to know more about it!

Cat – Cat advent calendars are a thing! My mum picked this one up at Tesco for £3 for our 2 cats to share! They’re also available for dogs!

Hopefully this encourages you to go out and try different kinds of calendars, and I’d love to know what kind of calendars you have this year!

Thank You for reading my first Blogmas post and I can’t wait to show you the rest!

Best wishes ~ Becca x

  1. I wish we had advent calendars here in the US! I always tell myself that I just need to go on Amazon and buy one or two to try it out, but there’s more kid-friendly ones than the ones for adults 😦
