Welcome back to my blog, today I’m talking about my ideal dates!
I know that everyone is different and has their own interests and preferences, but in this blog post I’m talking all about my own personal choices of where I’d love to be taken on a date, or have been taken on a date before and would do again!
Aquariums / Animals –
I LOVE aquariums, I just love seeing the fish and the sharks and the sea creatures. I wanted to be a Marnie biologist until I realised that I was scared of boats and the ocean…
Unfortunately there are no aquariums near me, they’re all over an hour away. But last year my stepdad took me and Brad on a trip to The Deep in Hull, and I had a really enjoyable time.
Any kind of animal related date is a winner for me! Me and Brad recently went to a local farm and fed the sheep and I could’ve cried with happiness! Zoos are also a good choice but again I don’t live very close to any.
I’m a big fan of food, mostly Asian and Italian! If I was to be taken on a date to get food I would leave happy. My favourite restaurants are Frankie and Bennie’s, Cosmos, Wagamama, TGI Fridays and any Indian or Chinese restaurant/takeaway.
I’m also quite happy to stay home with takeaway food and watch movies under a blanket!
Despite me being extremely lazy I do enjoy bowling, museums, swimming and creative activities like painting pottery, pumpkin picking, walking on a beach or cooking.
I feel that a date like this would show me a person’s fun-side and could help us both relax and talk.
I love it when me and Brad get to do memorable activities together and I plan to get him to paint pottery with me, but he’s not really a pottery kinda man..
I understand that a lot of people may enjoy dates to the cinema, or long journeys that require overnight stays, outdoor treks, dancing or going to clubs etc, but I’m really not that kind of girl.
A quiet date with food, animals and activities, even if it’s the same place we’ve been to 100 times or just my sofa, is a great date for me..

See you guys next time and I hope you have a great Guy Fawkes night this weekend!
